Friday the 13th: The Obsession Begins Filming Soon
The first episode to be filmed in the series will Episode 3 out of 7. This episode will deal with the relationship of our troubled Jason fan, Amy, and her girlfriend Stephanie. Timberwolf has posted that this particular episode will not have any carnage, but guys will be pleased with the interactions of the two characters, so we have been told.
The rest of the shooting plans were laid out the official Facebook page for the series, which we have listed below. Look for pics and possibly some video in the next few months from the shoot of the film!
Episode 3 shoots in the next couple of weeks. From there we do 4, 5 and 2. After that we move into the more complex 1, 6 and 7 in August. We hope to start showing in Sept, and through Halloween. Character and set pics will pop up here and there.
I am really looking forward to this. Can't wait to see these jilted lovers make up. :)
ReplyDeleteJason will be in every episode, don't want to disappoint fans, but eps 3 and 4 are definitely more cerebral and moody as opposed to straight out carnage. But the series is definatly more character driven than any given Friday.
ReplyDeleteI warn out front that it is a film for Friday fans willing to see something different, something more. Nothing against the actual series, I love it... but this is very different, but with sequences and Jason like we know and love.
But as more simple way to put it, if you are the type of fan that hates Wes Craven's New Nightmare, or Rob Zombie's Halloween films simply because its not what came before, and you want the same thing over and over... than this series is not for you.
While it has its own story, it is very much along the vibe of New Nightmare, and def has the bizarre cerebral flashes and dreams, hardcore violence mixed with the deeper, gritty and more realistic world like Zombie's H2, and his films ion general... maybe even like JCB's original ideas for Part 7 that were tossed aside by Paramount (Tina seeing visions of Jason etc)
This is for fans that want to see an extended world, and something a little different.

ReplyDeleteOh, we got two, and maybe even 3 girls getting naked, a girl/girl love scene, and some very cool kills, even a couple actual Jason hands on kills and not the 'fan' killer. So all will be good.
