Definitely F13 Part 7. Kane brought a whole new kind of intensity and nuance to Jason in that movie. Not to mention Part 7's design might definitely be the coolest of them all. Kane's the man!
ReplyDeletei liked him in "Hatchet"
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Friday the 13th Part 7.
ReplyDeleteI'll ironically say his part in Frozen.
ReplyDeleteActually, I love Hatchet
I would have to say part 7, and when he portrayed Ed Gein., The
ReplyDeleteHatchet 2 as the father of Victor, very emotional scene and you could really feel like this papa had lost his special son and full of guilt.. he just looked like a broken man.
ReplyDeleteFriday the 13th: Part 7 (The new blood)
ReplyDeleteBecause not only was it my first introduction to Kane, but most importantly it was my first introduction to the whole friday franchise and i have never looked back since then :)
I'm in the minority but at the time I loved Jason Takes Manhattan. The movie looked great and I loved that Kane got to play him again. I read his "Jason's Diary" from that movie in Fangoria and saw that he loved playing the character so much.
ReplyDeletei have to go for friday the 13th part vii he made a great jason and gave the film some credability after a few poor installments
ReplyDeleteFriday the 13th part 7 The New Blood.
ReplyDeleteEd Gein: The Butcher of Plainfield
ReplyDeleteThe New Blood is my favourite by far!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday. It probably wasn't the greatest film from the series but I believe Kane did his best portrayal as Jason in that particular film mainly because you can see how angry Jason could be with his heavy breathing in certain scenes and the way he walks, and for a character who doesn't speak you can clearly see the emotion and hatred in Jason without any dialogue. I know he wasn't in the whole movie but for the times you see Jason you can't deny how great of a job Kane did.

I would have to say The New Blood, he was great as Jason in part VII and everything he has done since just keeps getting better!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is new blood
ReplyDeleteHatchet!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHatchet II
ReplyDeleteHatchet 2
ReplyDeleteHatchet 2. Because Kane played the killer which we all know he's great at and love. But also played a human being with family and emotions. And when he cried outside the house where one of the kids that lit his house on fire lived...it was so great of a performance and made me so sad. He did a great job making us feel for him and victor as well as be terrified.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Kane Hodder film is Jason X, I think. He gets to be bad ass as not only Jason Voorhees but also as UBER-Jason! And he destroys and entire space station! Body count record? I think so!

I'm gonna go with Hatchet II! It had gore and tears. It definitely showed how versatile he can be while still being in his horror element.
ReplyDeleteFavorite Kane Hodder is definitely Jason X. Just when you thought he was dead(but that never happens) He comes back as this badass, metal, shiny, just killer looking Jason...totally rocked!! I thought that was awesome. I remember being in the movie theater when that scene happened and was the only one in there who screamed with excitement!!!!
ReplyDeleteFavorite Kane Hodder is definitely Jason X. Just when you thought he was dead(but that never happens..) ReplyDeleteWhen Kane is masked it would be "Friday The 13th Part: 7 The New Blood" ,obviously! When Kane is unmasked would be Hatchet 2 because of his crying scene as Victor Crowley's dad ironically enough, because that scene showed Kane as more of a dimensional actor, plus when he appeared to be cryin it looked convincing, even for a big guy like him and it almost made me go to tears!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite film featuring Kane Hodder has got to be Friday the 13th VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. While not my favorite installment in the Fthe13th series, it is definitely my favorite take on Jason. Without speaking a single word, Hodder is able to fully portray both horrifying acts of violence as well as a great sense of humor; the infamous "head punch" scene comes to mind, and when he reveals what's under the mask to those random punks. Scripted stuff, of course, but done with relish showing just how much Hodder came to enjoy the role making it a real nice treat for fans of the character, myself included.
ReplyDeleteHardbodies, his stunt work in the water was pretty sweet!
ReplyDeletein all seriousness I loved his work in House 2
As much as I love Friday the 13th and all of Kane's work both masked and unmasked, I have to choose BTK. It really showed Kane's acting ability and he was downright creepy.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Kane Hodder film is by far Hatchet 2 when he plays Victor Crowley. That is one creepy bad guy! I specifially liked Hatchet 2 because Victor killed more people and Danielle Harris was in it.

I love Kane in all his Friday the 13th movies, he was the biggest, baddest ass Jason ever. My favorite Kane movie I have to say is Hatchet, I love the story and the kookiness of the whole movie and his Victor Crowley is a great and horrifying character.
ReplyDeletekamiwolf@yahoo.com
My favourite film starring Kane Hodder would probably have to be Hatchet II. It was great to see him in the make-up killing people in new and badass ways, as well as seeing him as Thomas Crowley. I had never really seen him like that before, as a man who had his heart broken when his son was killed. It was so sad to see him fall to the ground uttering the words "you killed my son" while crying. I also loved him as Jason in the Friday the 13th films he appeared in as he added many new things to the character but his performances in Hatchet II are his best work to date...
ReplyDeleteJason X and Hatchet 2..flip7272@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI have searched my local Hatings for this book under both titles to no avail :(
ReplyDeleteI liked him as the security guard in Jason Goes to Hell.
ReplyDeleteI love Hachet, but I really, really ,really, really, really, really, have to pick Hachet ll .
ReplyDeleteWho else but Kane Hodder can made a Sequel turn out better then the first? Answer, Kane Hodder!!!!!!!!!!

I am 63 years old and NEVER miss the chance to see a movie with Kane Hodder. He is the most awesome Jason ever. The others and the one since cannot even come close. Hatchet was out of sight, but I agree that Hatchel II was the absolute best.
ReplyDeleteHey Kane, I first met you at Frightmare 2010 and you've been my favorite Jason since I first watched part 7. I thoroughly enjoyed your work as Victor Crowley. Since this is a contest for me to tell you my favorite Kane Hodder I'm gonna have to say all of them... I love your work & I've thought about getting into the stunt work business myself. Anyway I wont take anymore of your time. Keep doin what you do & ill keep supporting you every step of the way.
