More Info, E-Crystal Lake Memories
Last month, we brought you an update on the anticipated extension to what many fans consider the definitive biography of the Friday the 13th film franchise, Crystal Lake Memories. The new extension will be released in e-book form, not in print, and will contain new interviews and images previously not released in the 2005 hardcover edition.
The last news about the e-book, posted at the Official Facebook page, mentioned new interviews of the cast were being completed along with expanded quotes from the 2005 edition. There was also mention of never before released images of the films being posted at the Facebook page in the near future. Now a quick update on the project was just posted.

The eBook is going to be more of the "director's cut," as there are no space limitations so there's freedom to include a lot of stories and quotes that didn't make it the first time around, and even in a new print edition, still wouldn't be able to fit. I'll be posting some more info here soon, as well as a rundown of the new interviewees that will be included.
Concerns over there being a physical book look to be answered as there are no plans for such a release. Look for new information on the book here soon and hopefully, some of those new images talked about last month!
This sucks on so many levels! I would like to see it in print, because not all of us have an I-pad, kindle, or whatever the crazy thing the kids are into these days.
ReplyDeleteYea, I would like a book for this too, but I have kindle, so I am happy this way as well. Look forward to this new edition!
ReplyDeleteI am still bummed about this only being an e-book, but we still have to be excited to get new interviews and photos!
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm happy to get more info and pics from my favorite movie series. Can't wait to see what is in store.
