On Location in Blairstown: The Making of Friday the 13th
Our last update on David Grove's new book, which will take an in-depth look at all phases of the making of Friday The 13th (1980), explained a little bit about what fans can expect to find inside the pages of his new retrospective. As David progresses towards completing his definitive look at this financially successful and genre changing film, he occasionally will update us on its progress.
Today we have learned that the new, tentative, title for the book is On Location in Blairstown: The Making of Friday the 13th. We were also offered some other little tidbits from David that our readers will be interested to know about.
"Just updating you that I'm almost finished with the body of the manuscript for my "Friday the 13th" book - tentatively titled "On Location in Blairstown: The Making of Friday the 13th" - after which I'll proofread then add the appendix section which will include, among other things, the first five pages and the last five pages of the 85 page shooting script that was used during filming, as well as a copy of the shooting schedule."
No word on a release date yet, but we are sure that David will keep us informed as to when fans can expect to see this highly anticipated book in stores. Keep checking back for more updates when they are available!
