Teddy getting the knife through the projector screen into his skull. I made sure I mounted my screen to the wall.
ReplyDeleteI was so terrified when Jason came creeping through the Jarvis house doorway with Trish's back to him. I was screaming at the screen, run Trish run!
ReplyDeleteHands down, it has to be Jimbos "Love is a lie" dance. McFly definitly has some moves.
ReplyDeleteCrispin Glover getting cork strewed in the hand then meat clever in the face. "Ted, where the hell is the cork strew?"
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene, hands down would have to be when Jason busts through the front door of the Jarvis home and chucks the hammer and Trish and Tommy.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene in Friday The 13th The Final Chapter is at the end when Tommy shaves his hair off to look like a younger version Jason and then kills Jason with his own machete.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is when the chase begins between Jason and Trish/Tommy. It is one of the most intense chases of the series and is a shining example of everything great about the classic Friday films.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene in F13 The Final Chapter is definitely Jason's death at the end... just the sound of the WHACK when Tommy hits Jason in the side of the head (what a nice sound!!! lol) As is THAT wasn't good, then you have the abundant pouring of blood coming out pretty profusely. lol And then again, as if THAT was awesome enough, you have the ultimate pay off when Jason hits the ground and begins to slide down the blade (HARDCORE LOL) And as he reaches the handle of the machete, his head begins to come apart toward the back of the head. MASTERFUL!!! lol
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see the scene, it just sends chills of fandom up my spine!!! I only wish the MPAA would've let it go on a little longer to let the audience bask in what was supposed to be Jason's FINAL Chapter... the ultimate pay off to a series that would've ended on a high satisfactory note. But oh no, we're not done just yet. As if that didn't satisfy the hardcore fan... we get Tommy seeing Jason's hand twitch so he tosses his sister aside and goes MEDIVEL all over Jason with what seemed like 37 violent whacks with the machete all up and down Jason's body!!!! (37??? Kevin Smith iconic reference. lol)
There's no scene in the entire SAGA of F13 that seems to top Jason's death in Pt. 4. This will always be the ultimate death (and scene) for me in F13 History. (Although let's give a nod to the abundance of F13 Nudity that most of us grew up on. lol)
I used to laugh so hard I would almost have an asthma attack. And to find out the whole dance was an improv of Crispin's.... pure genius!! lol
ReplyDeleteI believe the best scene in Friday The 13th- The Final Chapter has got to be the opening tracking shot from the helicopter, through the muddy surroundings of the Part 3 cabin location to Jason lying in the barn. The atmosphere and reality that Zito created with that scene makes it not only the best scene in the film, but the best in any of the Froday The 13ths.
ReplyDeleteI think my favourite scene in the film is the conversation between Ted and Jim on the way to the cottage. It makes me laugh every time, haha. After that, I love when Jason is chasing Trish and Jim's body is hung up on the doorway, and he simply tears it down to get it out of his way. Gruesome stuff!
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite scene, when Jason bursts through the door and throws the hammer
ReplyDeleteI would have to say my fave scene is after tommy knocks jason's mask off and Jason does the slow turn revealing his face. One of my all time fave jason looks from my fave entry in the franchise.
ReplyDeleteMy fav scene from part IV is when Jason busts into the door and throws the hammer...just an awesome scene
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene for part IV was when Tommy is hacking away on Jason at the very end yelling 'Die Die Die'. The slow motion shot combined with the insane look on Tommy's face is one of the creepiest moments in the series.
ReplyDeleteFavorite scene from the Final Chapter is the corkscrew scene. The irony kills me. (And Crispin Glover.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene in part IV is the death of Jason because the way he died is so gruesome and tops every single death Jason had to get.
ReplyDeleteFavorite scene in part 4 had to be Jason's "deadth"--the effect Savinit pulls off for that slide down the machete is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say that my favorite scene from the movie would have to be when Jason is chasing Tommy and Trish threw their house and they hide in the bedroom and Jason starts breaking down the door and the TV is smashed on his head....They then try to sneak past his body lying on the floor. The tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife!!!! PS- Love the look of this mask!!! thanks for the contest!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene was when Tommy momentarily subdues Jason by reminding him of
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene was when Tommy stopped Jason for a minute by reminding him of his childhood, only to have it backfire when Trish then Tommy destroy him.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is the death of Rob, which had an impact on my emotional perspective. I don't remember ever finding his lines stupid. I agree with the director in that the scene portrays a deeper part of Jason's evil nature. He doesn't just target careless teenagers. He will brutally kill anybody that gets in his way, including a young man who only wants justice for his sister. And the sheer helplessness that Trish felt watching Rob die also adds to the impact. Having characters that appeal to our sense of humanity makes their deaths even more interesting beyond the gore (Which I still find awesome, of course)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene in The Final Chapter has to be the entire morgue scene. It kinda took Jason outta the woods for the first time, and the hospital was dark and creepy, reminded me of halloween 2. and the way he killed axel, the hacksaw was awesome and just Jason at his best!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is when Rob and Trish go to the basement when the power goes off. It was pretty scary when Jason jumped out of the darkness and attacked Rob.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is Rob's death, without question. The sheer brutality Jason shows in hacking away at Rob is the most vicious death in the F13 series. While most of Jason's kills get neutered to remove the impact shot or repeated stabs/chops/swings of a sleeping bag, here we see Jason's rage on full display as his arm comes down again and again and again. Certainly not the goriest kill in the franchise, but it's the one that still gives me the chills after all these years...
ReplyDeleteI loved it when Jason sneaks up on Trish when she is calling for Tommy in the house before the end fight.
ReplyDeleteCrispin Glover dancing to Love Is A Lie by Lion is classic, and Jason ripping him from the doorway.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is in the morgue when axl gets killed with the hacksaw. Awesome death!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is when Jason takes the axe to the head , hesitates than puts both arms straight out at the camera
ReplyDeleteNothing, absolutely nothing, beats Crispin Glover's dance scene. Ever. But since he doesn't die in it, I like Ted getting in through the movie screen, in the back of the head.
ReplyDeleteThat was technically from part 3. They showed that at the beginning as part of a montage of scenes from the first three
ReplyDeleteMy favorite death scene is when Sam swims out to the raft after hearing noises thinking it was Paul and when she gets there Jason jumps up from the water and stabs her from beneath while holding her.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is when the mask hits the floor in the end in slow-motion.. Epic!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is when Ted gets stabbed through the movie tarp screen. It's my favorite scene because it's probably how I'd die in a Friday the 13th movie, especially since I'm a movie freak.
ReplyDeleteFav scene is the skinny dipping scene, and why not!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is the scene where Jason sneaks up on the hitchhiker and stabs her all the way through the throat from the back. The grunts Jason makes are VICIOUS. Final chapter is the only friday where Jason grunts when he kills.
ReplyDeletei would say the morgue scene with the hacksaw
ReplyDeleteThis is probably going to be used a lot, but I gotta go with George McFly doin' that funky dance of his!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is when jason's mask gets knocked off and he gets a machete to the face, then he falls and his head slides down the machete blade.
ReplyDeleteThere are many kill scenes that I love in The Final Chapter, but I've always been partial to the hitchhicker scene when Ted hangs out of the back of the Stationwagon and yells: "Hey honey you got a sister?! Ruff ruff!" And then the kill is epic! Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteMy fav scene is when Jason crushes Doug's face in.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene has to be the entire end chase between Jason, Trish and Tommy. Lots of suspense, terror, action and of course... blood!
ReplyDeleteWhen Jason gets sliced by Tommy at the end.
ReplyDeleteAny seen with Corey Feldman's character.
ReplyDeleteFavorite scene has to be when Jason is chasing Trish and he rips Jimbo down from the door way. I always loved that scene. Ripping someone down like that is just so brutal it's amazing.
ReplyDeletefave scene is Axl's death by hacksaw. also Jason's death scene was extremely gory and well done. prob my fave F13 movie ever.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is when Peter Barton's head beomes one with the shower tiles!! Awesome:):)
ReplyDeletewhen tommy jarvis hit jason with the machette!
ReplyDeleteWell it has to be the end scene Jason's death the one that should of finished him of at the time it looked really good the way his head went down that machete and tommy losing the plot and hacking him up I can't see that there's anything els in the film that comes close to his death scene
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is by far one of the most recognizable scenes from the series; when the arrow goes throw Jack's (Kevin Bacons) neck in the first film.
ReplyDeleteI always liked the scene where Tommy gets grabbed by Jason when he's standing by the window.
ReplyDeletei'm partial to the shower scene where jason crushes doug's skull and then tears off his face. at least doug tagged sara before he died.
ReplyDeleteJesus Christmas! Holy Jesus! Goddamn! Holy Jesus jumping Christmas shit!
ReplyDeletethe part were jason runs out the door and ripes the guy off the wall hanging by the nails that was awesome
ReplyDeletethe part were jason runs out the door and ripes that guy off the nails his hanging on it was awesome
ReplyDeleteI love the opening scene with the aftermath of Part 3. It was so cool to see that.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of TFC is the opening at Higgin's Haven, showing the authorities on the scene of the part 3 massacre. The helicopter overhead with its spotlight, the police running around, the paramedics arriving, Jason's "lifeless" body being attended to, plus great dialog and an eerie score make for the perfect sequence.
