Is Jay Leno Really Like Jason Voorhees?
Jason Voorhees is generally regarded as a person that you just can't keep down, and that's after enduring multiple stabbings, bullet shots to the head and body, and exposure to fire and toxic waste. So what person could be just as hard to get rid of than Jason? How about Jay Leno? And that sentiment comes from one of his peers!
While speaking to reporters on a video conference this past Thursday, Jimmy Kimmel, who will be sharing the same late night time slot in a few weeks with Jay Leno, compared his counterpart to the likes of Jason stating that, "Just when you think he's dead, he comes back." Of course, Kimmel was coerced by reporters when he was asked indirectly about a report that Jimmy Fallon will likely replace Leno on the Tonight show when Leno’s contract expires in 2014. Kimmel suggested that he doubts such a transition will occur because as he stated above, Jay Leno is just like Jason Voorhees!
Jay has proven to have just as many lives as Jason over the years, but we think Jason will outlast Mr. Leno into the next few decades!
