New Glow In The Dark Jason Voorhees Surfaces For NECA Figure
A few weeks a go the awesome news broke that NECA would be offering an exclusive Jason Voorhees figure at San Diego Comic Con this Summer, wherein the character was depicted in Nintendo's iconic, but frustrating 1989 video game. If anything fun came from the late 1980's game it was that fans learned that Jason indeed loves purple attire. Another unique feature the exclusive figure will have is that it will glow in the dark along with it's sorted weapons.
Today, NECA's twitter sent out the first still of what the glow in the dark Jason will look like. The image is below and make sure to read the description of what to expect of the figure at SDCC this July!
NECA's Friday the 13th Jason (1989 Video Game Appearance) Comic-Con Exclusive will be a fully articulated 7-inch figure done up in that truly horrifying video game deco. Better yet is Jason's glow-in-the-dark features. Jason's mask, hands, and feet will glow a soft blue, while his included machete blade and axe head will glow white. This comic-Con exclusive will come in a special window box packaging with opening flap to re-create the look and feel of the classic 1989 Friday the 13th video game packaging.
