CONTEST WINNER: NECA Nintendo Jason Figure
We first announced our contest for the NECA Nintendo Jason Voorhees figure, which is an exclusive for the San Diego Comic Con, on June 9th. Since that time, we have received a flood of contest entries, both in pictures and video, with some extremely creative work by the Friday The 13th fans. It was very hard to pick a winner with so many entries capturing the look and feel of the Nintendo Friday The 13th game. Alas, there can only be one winner.
Congratulations to Chris Bukoski for his winning entry! His image, pictured below, is a fun point of view shot from over Jason's shoulder. The image gives fans an idea of what it would be like to be in Jason's shoes inside the Nintendo game while trying to kill off the counselors. There are a number of very good images and impressive videos created for this contest and that made it extremely difficult to pick a winner. Chris' image seemed to capture what a video could offer in an exciting still which gave it an edge in the competition.
Chris will be contacted via email and his figure shipped to him directly from NECA. Thank you very much to every single person who submitted their image or video. This was such a fun contest to judge and it shows how passionate the Friday The 13th fans are about Jason and that notorious relic of a Nintendo game called Friday The 13th!
