This is 1 of only 2 SCREEN USED UBER machetes to survive the filming of FRIDAY THE 13TH 10, AKA JASON X. The fiberglass Hero and 3 other stunts were all cut up and destroyed during filming. Leaving the 2 walk around stunts.
Everyone has wondered, "What happened to all the UBER JASON parts and machetes?"
The answer is, they were in FRIDAY THE 13TH CREATOR SEAN S CUNNINGHAM'S person storage. He has signed this personally as irrefutable provenance! I sprayed some clear coat over the signature to protect it from wear. These are the only props he ever kept, or sold as his son Noel was Producer on this film.
Made of a type of Urethane which has reacted slightly to heat during a decade of storage. A few bubbles have formed as you can see, but this is what it is, and makes an incredible display!
