Machete props have littered the Friday the 13th film landscape over the past 30 years and every single prop is different in size and unique to its purpose in a film. Today we are going to take a look at a prop machete for Friday the 13th: A New Beginning!
This machete is rumored to have been used first at the beginning of the film when Tommy Jarvis is experiencing another blood soaked encounter with Jason (Played by John Hock) while he is dreaming. The machete is then mentioned to have been converted to an F/X machete for stuntman Tom Morga to use while playing Pseudo Jason "Roy", and used to kill the Pete character as Roy's second victim.
The machete was cut to fit the actor's neck and then fit with a tube to pump blood to simulate blood from cutting the neck. This is another highly sought after prop from the Friday the 13th film franchise and its current owner is thrilled, we are sure, to have a piece of franchise history!
