Behind The Scenes: Rotted Mr. Shepard From Friday The 13th Part 7: The New Blood
According to Director John Carl Buechler, Producer Barbara Sachs and the MPAA forced him to change his originally intended ending for Friday The 13th Part 7: The New Blood for which a rotted Mr. Shepard (John Otrin) would emerge from the lake to drag Jason Voorhees to his watery grave. He instead added a more visually appealing version of the character with only bits of mud applied to his body and face. Although footage of the cut scene with the makeup was not seen until recently on the 2004 and 2009 DVD releases, some photos have been circulating around the World Wide Web for a few years now.
