Upcoming Fan Film: 'Friday The 13th: The Curse Of Jason'
We like to find out about projects within the ever evolving fan film realm of Friday The 13th, but we really haven't heard too much about these passionate kinds of films of late. When we do come across a fan film project that appears to have serious production aspirations, we like to share it with our readers who are equally as passionate about Friday The 13th and Jason Voorhees.
Studio 605 is preparing to lens their 3 part fan film series based on Friday The 13th this coming March, titled Friday The 13th: The Curse Of Jason, with plans to release the series starting in Summer 2014 and running through to the Fall. There is no word on what the series will be about at this time, but we know Jason will be in it and people will die. There is not much more absolution than that. The crew behind the series has created a few short teaser trailers, which can be found on the companies Youtube Page (For some reason the trailers have embedding disabled?).
It looks as though there will more than one iteration of Jason Voorhees in the vein of the classic Paramount Pictures days from the early 1980's. To keep up on the project and find out more about the fan film series, visit their Facebook page and we will keep an eye on this project for the future.
