'Friday The 13th' 35th Anniversary Reunion Planned For 2015!
Next year marks the 35th Anniversary of the original film in the franchise, Friday The 13th 1980. It's quite a honor to see a small independent film still celebrated so many decades later and with a new film and television series set to be released in 2015, the Friday The 13th franchise continues to grow and be enjoyed by old and new generations of fans.
It's with great pleasure, then, to let our readers know that a nice 35th Anniversary reunion of the original film is being put together as part of the Shock Pop Comicon taking place in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida the weekend of February 13-15 2015! What a way to celebrate a film that takes place on the unluckiest day of the year by starting off a reunion on Friday The 13th! There have been a number of alumni from the original film already announced with hopefully more to come. Currently, our readers will be able to meet Sean Cunningham (Director), Harry Manfredini (Composer), Adrienne King (Alice Hardy), Ari Lehman (Young Jason), and Ron Milkie (Officer Dorf).
