Props: Friday The 13th 2009 Hero Axe Used By Jason Voorhees

In April 2009, a huge Hollywood auction was conducted through Profiles in History. Various items from the newest Friday the 13th movie were auctioned off. One such item was the Hero Axe used on-screen by Derek Mears as Jason Voorhees.

This metal axe measures approximately 28 inches and was used to kill Lawrence in Friday The 13th 2009. Originally, the axe was won at that auction for $1,000 plus shipping and auction fees. However, later in 2009, the axe went up for sale on eBay with a starting bid of $1,900. We are not sure how much it sold for at that time or who may own it now, but it is indeed an awesome piece of Friday The 13th history.
