New Rare And Never Seen Behind The Scenes Images Of FRIDAY THE 13TH 1980
We indeed received an early Halloween treat as the first day of October arrives in 2014. Our website was contacted late last night by Billy Kirkus, who is currently working on an untitled project that is being kept under wraps for the time being, and is utilizing images from Friday The 13th 1980. There are over 4,000 images from the production of the film being sifted through for the project, and Billy was gracious enough to send a few of the behind the scenes photos our way to share with the fans.
As Billy mentioned to us, most of these photos have either never been seen before, or have been rarely seen by a select group of people. Below are a few of the candid images taken in-between takes at camp No-Be-Bo-Sco in Hardwick, New Jersey which is the location used for the infamous Camp Crystal Lake.
This first photo is the cabin where Jack (Kevin Bacon) is killed from under the bed by Mrs. Voorhees after having sex with Marcie (Jeannine Taylor)
The second photo is a great image of Crazy Ralph (the late Walt Gorney) sitting while waiting to film his next scene at the camp.
In the last image we have a very young looking Sean Cunningham, the director of Friday The 13th 1980 as he preps a shot from what looks to be the roof of one of the cabins.
A great big thanks goes out to Billy Kirkus for sharing these photos with us and the fans. We might be receiving more in the near future and if do we will get them out to everyone as soon as possible.
