Rare Press Photos From Friday The 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan
Throughout the years we have highlighted many Friday The 13th press kits that were given out to the media outlets and theatre chains to help promote the films. The best kits were undoubtedly produced in the 1980's and featured many photos from the films. We have showcased the press kit for Friday The 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan in the past, which includes some cool postcards from Jason Voorhees. There are some great photos from the film in the press kit as well, but we recently happened across some pretty rare press photos from the production of the film that were not included in our press kit.
We have posted the images not found in our press kit below. It's enjoyable to see some of these still shots, such as Jason walking out from behind the door with the dart board (a foreshadow of the original boxer death), a determined Julius (nothing....but this gun) and slew of other candid shots and alternate angles of scenes from the film.
