His portrayal as Jason Voorhees in Friday The 13th Part 3 has left an indelible mark on the fans of the franchise and his interactions with our readers during the past decades at conventions was always fun and memorable. A few years back, Richard shared a very rare photo behind the scenes of Part 3 which showcased the original look of Jason in the film.

As many people know, this look for Jason was scrapped during production of the film after dailies revealed to producers that they did not feel that this was how Jason should look on-screen.
