New Writer Hired For Friday The 13th 2016 Film
Last month Producer Brad Fuller mentioned that Platinum Dunes was aiming for a late Summer shooting date for the newest Friday The 13th film. Director David Bruckner is still attached to the project and hopefully news today shows that progress is moving towards that shooting date.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nick Antosca has been hired to write a new script for the film, which is slated to release May 13, 2016. Nick has worked as a producer on the NBC show Hannibal as well as written episodes for MTV's Teen Wolf. A previous draft for the new Jason Voorhees film was penned by Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg.
