'Mortal Kombat X' Jason Voorhees DLC Date Announced
Everyone has been eagerly awaiting their chance to play as Jason Voorhees in Mortal Kombat X ever since his announcement for the game this past March. Up until now, we were not sure of exactly when his character could be unlocked as a DLC for gamers to play as. Yesterday, during NetherRealm's Kombat Kast show, Jason's special day was revealed.
The NetherRealm team announced that Jason will be available as a playable Mortal Kombat X DLC character starting Tuesday, May 5. He will first be made available to those who purchased the $30 Kombat Pack DLC collection on that date. After one week, he will be available for separate purchase to everyone else, regardless of Kombat Pack ownership.
Unfortunately, the Kombat Kast show did not reveal game-play footage of Jason within Mortal Kombat X, however, NetherRealm's Ed Boon did confirm you'll be able to take Jason's character for trial run before buying him. Who's excited to find out what Jason can do in the game come May 5th?!
