Witness This Incredible 'Friday The 13th Part 3' Custom Barn Diorama
Friday The 13th fans are truly passionate about their beloved franchise and every time I think they have maxed out in their creative expressions of their fandom, another project appears that blows my mind. Just recently posted in our Forum by user A.J. Leatherman is a 1/24 scale replica of the barn seen in Friday The 13th Part 3! Check out the images of the barn diorama below.
Here is what is mentioned about this labor of love project:
I dabble a little bit in modeling, so I decided to take a shot at making a replica of the barn from Part 3. Five or six months later, I finally finished it - complete with lights, hinged gates, hayloft lift - the works! It's about 1/24 scale, so the completed barn is approximately 13 inches high, 2.5 feet wide, and 3.5 feet long. I took a lot of screenshots from the movie, so I think the detail work is pretty accurate. I don't have a lot of the "dressings", like the saddles and assorted "junk" in it, but structurally, I think it's pretty close to the real thing.
This replica is incredible and I would love to have a part of my collection. Too bad NECA or other toy companies will never be able to mass produce this type of diorama as I think it would sell quite well to fans of the franchise. What do you think of this replica from Part 3?
