BRACKET CHALLENGE: Round 3, Dr. Crews vs Sheriff Garris
The Friday The 13th Bracket Challenge puts the iconic characters of the franchise against one another in a elimination contest where fans vote on who wins and who loses.....their limbs. There will be two match-ups added to the website each week and fans can decide on who they would like to see advance to the next round by adding your vote in our Comments section below. Dr. Crews is the self serving therapist that lures Tina Shepard and her mother to Crystal Lake to exploit Tina's telekinetic gift in Friday The 13th Part 7: The New Blood. Crews brings mother and daughter to their old family home on the lake under the guise of better therapy, but what he really wants is to heighten the trauma of the teen girl and bring out her abilities to further his career. As bodies mount from Jason Voorhees, the good doctor continues to conceal the truth in hopes of still being able to exploit Tina for his career.
Sherrif Garris is the lead law enforcer in the town of Forest Green (Crystal Lake for all you former residents) in Jason Lives: Friday The 13th Part 6. Garris spends most of his time thwarting the advances of perceived psychos towards his daughter Megan with an occasional ironing of punks like Tommy Jarvis. However, when the situation arises where he has to get physical with an undead hockey masked psycho, his judgement is questionable at best while deciding to straddle that villain leaving himself in a compromising position. What a back breaker.
