We Celebrate Our 5th Anniversary Today!
For those of you that have followed my writing the past eight years, you know that my starting up of this Friday The 13th: The Franchise website was a very spur of the moment, sudden situation. For those readers that caught on to this special place since it began operation, you should know that the Friday The 13th films are a passion for this writer and that passion drives this website.
This past year has been a tremendous journey once again in continuing to interact with the many fans across the world, learning even more technology as it relates to this site and keeping the community informed in making this destination a central hub for all things Friday the 13th. Our website celebrates its fifth anniversary today, and something that started very small has grown quite large. We still have a long way to go and this site has the makings of something very unique and special and truly is an extension of every single fan out there who has followed these movies for over three decades.
The goal here is to have an immerse and interactive website that not only reports the latest news pertaining to the slasher series, but uncovers new and interesting topics that fans may not have known about before. Thank you to everyone who reads our news and forum topics and contributes their thoughts. If there is anything you would like to see included or added to the website in 2016, please let us know in the comments below, or send us an email at contact@fridaythe13thfranchise.com.
I encourage everyone to join our Forum and check out our social media sites located at the upper left of our website. Also, I want to give a great big thanks to all of the people write for the site and are tremendous contributors: Lorne Dixon, Caliber Winfield, Jeff Sica, and Carlos Carrasco. These four have helped make this place as diverse in it's thoughts and ideas as anywhere on the World Wide Web. I would be remiss to forget acknowledging some of the alumni who have interacted with us on Social Media, such as Mark Swift, Larry Zerner, Erich Anderson and Paul Kratka which always make running this website so much more fun!
Finally, I am very thankful to be in the position to supply information to all of the great fans of the Friday The 13th film franchise. The fan's passion for Jason Voorhees and the film franchise is unwavering and drives me further to make fridaythe13thfranchise.com THE final destination for everything to do with Friday The 13th!
