Own Exact Replicas Of The 'Jason X' Machete Collection
Jason X may not be as divisive as Jason Goes To Hell among the fans, but there are still many who believe the Jason in Space film should not be included in the canon of the franchise. It truly is a stand-alone film in many ways, however, there are a lot of our readers who thoroughly enjoy the futuristic exploits of Mr. Voorhees.
For those who are fans of Jason X and are collectors of all things Uber, we have a very special announcement to pass along from Darb Designz. Read below for more about owning exact replicas of the machetes used in the film!
This year marks the 15th anniversary of one of the most original films in the Friday The 13th franchise....Jason X. In celebration of this film, Darb Designz, in association with The Horror & SciFi Prop Preservation Association, are releasing replicas of the 3 machetes used by "Jason;" The Regular Machete, The Surgical Machete & The Uber Machete.
Own a piece of movie history!!!
The Regular & Surgical machetes are both cast using the original production molds from the film and finished to replicate the onscreen appearance (including triple chrome plating on the Surgical). The Uber Machete was meticulously sculpted and finished using an actual screen-used machete in hand for reference.
Each machete includes a stand with the option for single, double and triple holder and features a themed finish reminiscent to the films set-design.
Additionally, each machete comes with a custom & numbered plaque signed by Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees) on the Regular Machete, Todd Farmer (writer & played "Dallas") on the Surgical Machete, and myself, Brad Zonka (sculptor/artist) on the Uber Machete. An embossed COA signed by myself and James Azrael (Head Curator of The HSPPA/owner of machete molds and production used machete) will accompany each machete.
This will be a LIMITED RUN* of only 20
of each machete at this time.
