Video Review: "His Unlucky Day" Jason Voorhees Bust From 'Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter'

Around ten years ago, artist James Mangrun set out to create the definitive replica bust of Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter (Read our interview with James). He contacted artist Jim Kagel, who worked on creating the look of Jason for the film, and used several reference photos from the production of The Final Chapter to help sculpt and perfect the ultimate Jason Voorhees bust from the film.

Back in 2010, I was lucky enough to own one of thirteen reproductions from the original run of the extraordinary project, aptly titled His Unlucky Day. It was a centerpiece in my small collection of masks from the franchise, but sold it a few years ago. Before it was sold, I made a video review of this great piece of art and the video has languished in Youtube purgatory for many years. Now, I have resurrected it for our readers to watch.
