Sean Cunningham To Attend Camp Scarefest In September

Although Sean Cunningham's involvement with later films in the franchise continues to have mixed reactions from the fans, there is no denying that his willingness to re-create the success of John Carpenter's Halloween helped usher in a new era of Horror films in the 1980's, starting with his directorial effort, Friday The 13th. His film is a seminal classic that spawned one of the most financially successful film franchises in the history of film and helped create one of the most iconic characters in the world that still resonates with fans to this day.

The Scarefest is holding their ninth annual convention Camp Scarefest which takes place the weekend of September 30th-October 3rd in Lexington, Kentucky! The weekend event is highlighted by a huge arrangement of stars from the Friday The 13th films and now the event has invited Sean Cunningham to attend! He joins fellow alumni that are pictured below as well as Gun Media, creators of the upcoming Friday The 13th: The Game.

The weekend promises to be a great experience and lots of fun hanging out with the stars of the films and perhaps witnessing a few surprises from the new game as well!
