Friday The 13th 2017 Filming Dates Confirmed, Casting Call Put Out For Jason Voorhees

Yesterday we broke the news of one of the cities that Friday The 13th 2017 will be shooting. In our story we also revealed that the shooting schedule would take place in that city between March and May of this year, but we were unable to confirm the actual filming dates. That has changed today as Bloody Disgusting has uncovered an open casting call for a young Jason Voorhees!

Project Casting posted just today the casting call for the important role in the film which starts it's production in Conyers, Georgia on March 19th and runs through May 4th. The details of the casting call are below.

[YOUNG JASON] – Male, Caucasian, 12 years old ONLY SEEKING IDENTICAL TWINS W/ TV AND FILM CREDITS. MUST BE UNDER 5 FOOT. NO EXCEPTIONS. Lengthy and awkward. A dark, ominous child, who has severe psychological issues. Must have a very electric and expressive face (you will be painting the scene with your facial expressions), as this role does not speak. YOUNG JASON will grow into the pyscho-killer JASON. SUPPORTING ROLE. MUST BE ATLANTA BASED.
