'Friday The 13th: The Series' Actor Chris Wiggins Passes Away

 

We have learned today of sad news that veteran actor Chris Wiggins has passed away  Chris lived with Alzheimer's Disease for a number of years, but sadly died on February 19th, 2017 in Elora, Ontario, Canada. He is best known to the horror community as playing Jack Marshak in Friday The 13th: The Series.

His character Jack in the series was a friend of Lewis Vendredi, who sold his soul to the devil which resulted in numerous cursed antiques. After Lewis's death, Jack helped recover the cursed objects that were sold in Lewis's store, Curious Goods. The series was filmed in Toronto, Canada.

Chris Wiggins was born in Blackpool, England but moved to Canada and eventually began his career in theatre before transitioning to television in the late 1950s. He gave Friday a The 13th: The Series an air of prestige through it's three seasons. Chris will be missed!
