See New Hell Jason In Action For 'Friday The 13th: The Game'
Last month a new version of Jason Voorhees was revealed for game-play, created exclusively for Friday the 13th: The Game by the legendary horror icon Tom Savini. This is the first Jason Voorhees created by Savini since Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter and fans have been pretty excited about the reveal thus far. The new Jason design was inspired by the film Jason Goes to Hell, and poses the question of what would the Crystal Lake slasher look like if he came back from Hell.
Early tonight, Gun Media released the first game play footage utilizing the Hell Jason and it is pretty awesome. I especially enjoyed Harry Manfredini's music that seemed to have some elements from the Jason Goes To Hell score, which is indeed fitting.
Check out the video below and see what you think of this new incarnation of the Jason Voorhees.
Friday the 13th: The Game is being developed for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, for release in Early 2017.
