Friday The 13th Mobile Game Soft Releases Early Due To Legal Battle
There is a small catch to the upcoming date and that is Blue Wizard actually soft released the game for Apple iOS on January 23rd in the United States! Why was the game released on one platform with no promotion? Unfortunately, the in-progress legal battle between Victor Miller and Horror Inc over the rights to the Friday The 13th franchise caused the game company to go with a limited launch earlier than than the official April 13th date.
We don’t know the specifics of the legal issues, but those fans lucky enough to live in the U.S. who own an Apple device get to play the game now. Blue Wizard Digital mentioned to us that the full launch in April will include Android and Steam along with new updates. Look for more about the game as the global launh approaches in April.
