Dominick Brascia, Joey In Friday The 13th: A New Beginning, Passes Away

Joey Burns is one of the most memorable and recognizable characters in the franchise. Dominick Brascia’s performance as Roy’s lost son in Friday The 13th: A New Beginning always entertains fans and is the catalyst for the blood soaked events of pseudo Jason in the film. Dominick would go on to star in a plethora of 80’s horror films, including Once Bitten which starred other Friday The 13th alumni. Eventually, he would go on to host his own radio show Dominick In The Morning.

Sadly, we were just informed that the fan favorite passed away this past weekend of natural causes at the age of 62. His radio station KMMS reported his passing yesterday and Arrow In The Head brought it to our attention today.

Dominick will always have a lasting impression on the franchise and we all give our deepest sympathy to his family.
