'84 Entertainment Releasing Media Book Blu-Rays Of 80's "Zombie Jason" Friday The 13th Films.

Our readers are always in search of the latest releases of the Friday The 13th films on home video and no matter how many different versions are released of the films, we are always excited to collect the newest packages of the franchise. Starting in 2017, German home video distributor '84 Entertainment began releasing Media Books for seven of the Paramount Friday The 13th films from the 1980's, along with Friday The 13th 2009 and the documentaries His Name Was Jason and Crystal Lake Memories. There have been different versions of the covers for collectors to track down over the past couple of years for these films and this September the company will be completing their release of the films in Media Book form for Blu-Ray!

Coming this September 10th will be the Blu-Ray version B, C, and D for Jason Lives: Friday The 13th Part VI, Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood, and Friday The 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan.

The media book has three discs: the film on Blu-Ray, the film on DVD and a bonus DVD with extras. The book section consists of 14 double pages printed in high gloss and contains facts about the film. The text in the booklet is written by Christoph Kellermann.

The fun part of these releases are that the Version B covers are the exact covers used for the original VHS release in the German market back in the 1980's!
