Rights Battle Kills Toony Terror Jason Voorhees Figure

It was announced last Friday The 13th that NECA would be releasing an 8-bit Nintendo version of their Toony Terrors Jason Voorhees figure. The pre-order went up and a lot of fans purchased their figure. Now, it seems the Rights Battle has killed Jason, again!

Bloody Disgusting caught wind that the Jason figure (and Freddy as well) was being pulled from merchant sites, as well as NECA’s website and social media platforms. People who purchased the figure were sent emails apologizing for the discontinuation and money is being refunded.

The Franchise Rights Battle has claimed another victim for now, and we may not see anything licensed until late next year.
