Friday The 13th Part 2 4K UHD Releases This Fall With Special Fangoria Magazine

We have been waiting for news on the impending release of Friday The 13th Part 2 on 4K UHD disc since digital copies had been upgraded recently to the format. Fans will not have to wait much longer as the ultra high definition disc of the first sequel in the franchise is coming this Fall!

There is a small catch, however, as Paramount will be releasing the disc as part of their Paramount Scares second box set offering, which will include the following films:

Breakdown ((1997)

Works War Z (2013)

Orphan: First Kill (2022)

The box set will also offer a special limited edition Fangoria Magazine featuring Friday The 13th Part 2! Mrs. Voorhees’ head graces the cover of the storied horror magazine once again, for the second time, since Part 2’s theatrical release in 1981.

There will more than likely be an individual release of the film on 4K UHD disc at some point in the future, but if you’re eager for this release now, like the other films in the box set, and want that Fangoria magazine, you can preorder at Amazon right now.
