Jason Goes To Hell Stunt Dagger Sold At Auction

A stunt demon dagger from Adam Marcus' Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday was sold at Prop Store auction last week. The dagger was used on-screen when Jessica Kimble (Kari Keegan) fought off Sheriff Landis (Billy Bush) and Officer Randy (Kipp Marcus) for the demon dagger before stabbing Jason Voorhees (Kane Hodder) with it, which released the souls of Jason's victims and sent him to hell.

This stunt dagger features an ornately detailed handle cast with a demon's head pommel and spiny bone patterns on the grip as well as a foam rubber blade with a winged ricasso. The wings exhibit having broken off the ricasso completely, and both the resin and foam are exposed from cracking and paint flaking due to production use and age.

The dagger was purchased at auction for $3,780. It is a lot of money, but a small price to pay to own an iconic prop from the most controversial film in the franchise.
