Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday Coming To 4K UHD Disc Soon!

Slowly, but surely, the Friday The 13th films are being released on 4K UHD disc. Friday The 13th 2009 was just released on the format in September, and Friday The 13th Part 2 was also just announced recently, so we are very happy to hear that Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday is one of the next films in line together a UHD release.

Director Adam Marcus just confirmed on Twitter that he finished supervising the 4K restoration, color timing and clean up with cinematographer William Dill. The best part of this is the news that this work had been done for the Director’s Cut of the film, which is by far the better version for many obvious reasons.

There is no news of a release date as of yet, but Arrow Home Video will be producing the disc. Stay tuned for more for this very exciting release!

Jason Voorhees, the living, breathing essence of evil, is back for one fierce, final fling. Tracked down and blown to bits by a FBI task force, everyone now assumes that he's finally dead. But everybody assumes wrong. Jason has been reborn with the bone-chilling ability to assume the identity of anyone he touches. The terrifying truth is he could be anywhere. Or anybody.

In this shocking, blood-soaked finale to Jason's carnage-ridden reign of terror, the horrible secret of his unstoppable killing instinct is finally revealed. And once you know the chilling facts, you'll see him in your nightmares. And he'll see in you in hell.
