Jason Goes To Hell Documentary Announces World Premier And New Poster
It has been a long multi-year journey for the Jason Goes To Hell documentary Hearts Of Darkness, which explores the entire behind the scenes process of producing the controversial sequel film in the Friday The 13th franchise. With over forty cast and crew participating in this landmark documentary film, it is sure to delight fans of the film. Director Adam Marcus live streamed yesterday to give updates on the documentary and now we finally know when the film will world premier along as well as other exciting information!
The brand-new poster debuted yesterday for the documentary and was created by Marc Schoenbach with beautiful illustrations highlighting Adam Marcus directing the craziness that is Jason Goes To Hell.
Screenings
It was announced that the world premiere of the film will be screened at Frightfest Glasgow in Scotland, England! If you live in the area, the documentary will screen on Sunday March 8th at 3:20pm local time.
That's not the only premiere of the film as the United States debut of the film will take place at Texas Frightmare Weekend the weekend of May 23-25, 2025. Adam Marcus will be in attendance for this screening, and he will also be presenting the brand new 4K Ultra-HD version of Jason Goes To Hell as a double feature to pair with the Hearts Of Darkness documentary!
Blu-Ray Of Documentary
Adam announced yesterday that a Blu-Ray distribution deal is almost complete and that more about that will be shared with fans in the next several weeks. Backers of the documentary will most definitely receive their copies first while discs will also be made available to purchase to all fans as well.
The Hearts Of Darkness documentary was directed by Michael Felsher and co-written by Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th author Peter M. Bracke.
