Is NECA Mrs. Voorhees Figure A Reality?

 Last September a slew of images popped up in a Reddit thread showing a pretty convincing figure and artwork for a Mrs. Voorhees figure from NECA. We posted about it on our social media pages at that time to show fans but let everyone know that we were informed it was just a very well made custom. 

After the new year began, there was no news about this Mrs. Voorhees figure from NECA and the New York Toy Fair came and went in February with no reveal of any new Friday The 13th figures from NECA at all. With that being said, something very peculiar happened this past Friday as a large number of new photos of a Mrs. Voorhees figure was mistakenly uploaded to a Wal-Mart online listing for a Jason Lives Friday The 13th Part VI figure. Soon thereafter the photos for the listing were updated with the correct Jason Lives figure and packaging.

This is indeed very odd to have even more photos revealed and be mistakenly added to a major retail website listing. NECA has not returned our email about the figure to at least debunk if this figure is indeed official. Below are all of the photos we acquired, and it really does look like an official release.
